You can play by yourself or with friends online.

The focus of the game is on strategy and planning. You can build things and make decisions to try and defeat your opponents. It is the sixth game in the Age of Wonders series, starting with Age of Wonders: Fallen Planet. The game’s music was produced by a man named Michiel van den Bos.

• Fixed a blockage in the faction creation process when corrupted ruler files occur
• Fixed a siege process issue where the order of hero deaths could lead to an infinite siege
• Fixed a crash that could occur when an infection is occupied by a free city
• Fixed a crash that occurred when transferring a throne city after losing the original throne city.
• Fixed a crash that could occur during combat when a unit ends its turn on top of another unit and removes it.
