Armored Core 6 gameplay

The gameplay of Armored Core puts players in control of powerful mechas called Armored Core, with an emphasis on intense vehicular combat. In this game, you play as a professional mecha pilot, and the real fun comes from customizing these mechanical behemoths with various parts to enhance their capabilities.

Equip your mech with an array of weapons, including slots on each arm and two slots on the back of the mech, adding a strategic dimension to combat. The game retains the arena concept of its predecessor with the Combat Ability Assessment Program, where you can test your skills and compete against other players to earn valuable “OS Tuning” chips that unlock unique abilities and upgrades.

Successfully completing missions rewards you with in-game currency, called points, depending on the goals achieved. Unlike earlier games in the series, Armored Core VI eliminates the debt system, allowing players to attempt missions without fear of losing money if they fail, allowing for more room for experimentation and enjoyment.
