1. Task acquisition:
After Basim was initially assassinated, he expressed a desire to return to his hometown and reconnect with Nehal. To start the mission, go to the objective marker. You can summon your mount to travel faster, or you can choose to follow the road using cinematic options.
2. Navigate to Anbar:
Anbar is the destination, but if your reputation is high, be careful as guards may hunt you down. Once you reach Anbar, enter your old house to trigger a cutscene that begins your reunion with Nihal.
3. Reunion with Neil:

In Assassin’s Creed Phantoms, the gameplay is all about stealth and cool action. You play as Basim, who has some powerful skills. Imagine climbing up buildings, sneaking around, and taking out bad guys without being detected. The focus of the game is on missions where you have to eliminate specific targets, and it’s up to you to decide how. You’ll explore Baghdad and its different districts, from upscale areas to small suburban towns, each with its own atmosphere.
Basim has many tools at his disposal, such as hidden blades, smoke grenades, and poison darts, which you can upgrade at any time. In “Assassin’s Creed Phantoms”, the story revolves around Bassin ibn Ishaq, a young thief in 9th-century Baghdad. Basim dreams of joining the Hidden Ones, but is rejected and ends up stealing an artifact from the Caliph’s palace. This sets off a chain of events that plunges the city into chaos, with Basim’s friend Nehal helping him escape. However, things turned sour and Basim blamed Nehal for the troubles and they parted ways.
Later, with the help of Roshan, a member of the Hidden Ones, Basin was trained and became a member of their group. When Basim and Roshan discover the Order’s dangerous influence in Baghdad, they are sent to investigate. Basin learned that the group had infiltrated the upper echelons of the Caliphate and was searching for ancient Isu artifacts.
As Basim hunts down and thwarts members of the Order, Nihal reappears, warning Basim of the artifacts’ connection to their past. Despite the warning, Basim digs deep and confronts the Order’s leader, Kabiha. This leads to Basim’s true nature being revealed and a perilous journey into an Isu temple beneath Alamut, revealing the shocking truth about his own Isu Loki identity.
