Baldur’s Gate III is a role-playing video game developed and published by Larian Studios. It is the third major entry in the Baldur’s Gate series, based on the popular Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system. Initially, a partial version of the game was released in an early access format on October 6, 2020, for macOS, Windows, and the Stadia streaming service.

How to enter the Temple of Baal in Baldur’s Gate 3 BG3?
To open the first door to the Temple of Baal, you need to perform the following steps:

Find the entrance to the first door. It can be found near the Undercity Ruins portal. This entrance is part of the sewer system beneath the main city.

Head to Bloombridge Park in BG3 where you’ll find several manholes that lead to the sewer system.

Once you reach the first door, you’ll notice a circular platform. On this platform, corpses hang.

Equip ranged weapons or spells that allow you to attack from a distance.

Target the corpses hanging above the circular platform and shoot them with ranged attacks. Once the body is hit, blood will cover the platform.

Once the platform is covered in blood, the door to the Temple of Baal will slowly open.

Baal’s Gate is a massive stone wall located next to a waypoint in the ruins of Undercity. Despite its grand appearance, the method of opening it is relatively simple.
First, turn around and approach the waypoint. Look up and you’ll find two hanging bodies. These bodies are crucial to opening the Gates of Baal. You need to shoot them with arrows or use a spell to make them bleed onto the blood circle located on the circular platform below them.
Once you successfully hit one of the corpses and it starts bleeding in a circle, Baal’s door will open automatically. Behind the open door you’ll find a lever that can be used to control the door’s movement. This lever allows you to open or close the door as needed.
The Gates of Baal are now open, allowing you to delve further into the ruins of Undercity and continue your search for the Temple of Baal.
BG3 Temple of Baal
The Temple of Baal is a long-forgotten, dilapidated structure located deep in the Undercity, beneath Baldur’s Gate. It is an ancient ruin with a rectangular layout, with the entrance located on the south side of the screen. As you enter, your eye will be drawn to the magnificent altar located at the north end of the temple.

The inner walls of the temple are decorated with towering robed statues holding scythes, running along the east and west sides. The east wall is also decorated with sarcophagi, which pose a dangerous threat by unleashing the terror of battle when approached. These fearsome creatures can be formidable opponents.
In the center of the temple, the symbol of Baal – a skull surrounded by blood-stained tears – is prominently displayed. This central area is riddled with traps and dangerous to navigate. These traps are designed to protect symbols and deter intruders.
Inside the Temple of Baal, the game’s climactic final battle is about to begin. You will face the main antagonist Sarevok and his three loyal followers: Angelo, Tazzok and Semaj. Each of them is located at the four corners to the north of the altar, shrouded in the fog of war that obscures their presence.
