Trials of Osiris
- Winning a match in Trials of Osiris now has a high chance of dropping a non-skilled Trial weapon.

- Fixed an issue in Season of the Witch where Shaxx’s competitive level badge was not updating to a new badge.
seasonal content

Added a new set of armor as a ritual reward. At the end of any Vanguard, Crucible or Gambit Ritual playlist event, players will have the opportunity to receive part of this new set.

Fixed an issue where Director level ritual challenges were not assigning exotic sigils.

Fixed an issue where some players in the Helm Witch Season were unable to easily enter the Hive Portal.
Bizarre Spin Mission

Fixed an issue where Deep Sight exotic weapons were not granted in the Legendary difficulty version of Exotic missions.

Fixed an issue that prevented players from contacting Archie due to lasers and teleporters not working properly.

The Seasonality submenu in the Missions tab now uses the appropriate seasonal icon.

Stacks of Transmat effects will now not be split into individual items in the player’s inventory. Instead, for players who haven’t logged into the game since Season of the Witch launched, they will be converted to one.

The “Apply to All” shader bucket now uses the same shader item ordering used by the armor item’s shader socket.

Destiny 2 gameplay
In Destiny 2, you become a Guardian, a superhero character with special abilities and cool weapons. You can team up with other Guardians to fight enemies and explore different worlds. The game has two main modes of gameplay: player versus environment (PvE) and player versus player (PvP).
Character progression and categories:

Red War(2017)
The game begins with the Red Legion, led by Dominus Gaul, attacking the Last City and weakening the Guardians by stealing the Light. Players assume the role of a Guardian who must fight against Ghaul and the Red Legion with the help of allies such as Suraya Hawthorne, Cayde-6, and Ikora Rey. The story revolves around the struggle to regain the Guardian’s power, save the Traveler, and thwart Gaul’s ambition to harness the Light.
Leviathan and Beyond
After defeating Gaul, players will encounter Emperor Kallus and the Leviathan, a massive Cabal ship. This brings new mysteries and challenges.

New players will be introduced to the Destiny universe and learn about the Travelers, the Light, and the Guardians, while returning players can experience the first mission of the original Destiny.
2020 update
With the release of the Beyond Lithography expansion, the original Destiny 2 campaign was placed in the Destiny Content Vault. The New Player Experience provides new players with an expanded origin story.
Ongoing content
Destiny 2’s seasonal content begins in Shadowkeep, revealing the looming threat from the pyramid-shaped ships associated with darkness. The Guardians face the deceptions of the Hive, Vex, and Savathûn.
Witch Queen
The hive god Savatun gained the power of light, sparking conflict. The Guardians uncover her past and deal with the Lucent brothers, eventually confronting her in her throne world.
Light Falls(2023)
In the Lightfall expansion, the story focuses on the return of Emperor Kallus, who is allied with a mysterious entity known as the Witness. Kallus has established a stronghold on Neptune, a new destination for players. The Guardians confront Kallus, who helps the Witness obtain a powerful object called the Veil. With this artifact, the Witness pierced the Traveler’s protective shell, leaving the Vanguard and their allies shocked and vulnerable.
Final shape (expected 2024)
The upcoming expansion pack Final Form promises to reveal more about the evolving Destiny 2 narrative. This hints at the return of Cayde-6, with actor Nathan Fillion set to reprise the role. The story revolves around what happens inside a traveler through a portal opened by a witness. The expansion is expected to unveil the mystery of the Travelers’ actions on “Foundation” and their connection to the origin of the Hive, bringing further revelations to the “Destiny 2” universe.
