Dragon Quest Monsters: Prince of Darkness is a video game on the Nintendo Switch. It is the seventh entry in the Dragon Quest Monsters series and the first game to be released outside of Japan since 2011. The game tells the story of Psaro, the main villain in Dragon Quest IV, and takes place before the events in that game.

Psaro wanted to defeat his cursed father, so he became the “Monster Wrangler”. In the game, you engage in turn-based combat and explore a 3D world. Like other Dragon Quest monster games, you collect monsters by demonstrating strength, providing them with meat, or hatching them from eggs. You can then combine these monsters to form a powerful team. The film was released worldwide on December 1, 2023, and most critics loved it.

• You can now use the Zoom spell to enter the Altar of Fusion on Level B1 of Rose Hill Tower.
• The number of monster eggs in the field increases, and the number of battles required for rebirth is greatly reduced.
• Monsters that can only be born from eggs now have an increased chance of appearing.
• Increased the probability that egg-laying monsters have some skills.
• Some talent scrolls are now added to items in the online store after the game ends. The online store will update its inventory every day (real-world days, not in-game days), and talent scrolls will be on sale on certain days of the week.

The story of Dragon Quest Monsters: Prince of Darkness revolves around Psaro, a prince cursed by his terrifying father, the tyrant Randolph.
