Welcome to the Hidden Beginner’s Guide! In this game, you find yourself in a world shrouded in a dangerous fog, and your mission is to awaken the survivors and clear the destructive fog. Before we get started, let’s go through some basic steps to help you get started on the right foot.

First things first:

1. Build the glider:

• Shroud spores are found among creatures in the cave passages (Cinder Dome to Plains).
• Shroud wood is collected by cutting down trees within the Shroud.
• Build a glider to travel around the world. Watch your stamina!

Extra tip: Learn the airborne skill from the Assassin skill tree, which can reduce the glider’s stamina consumption by 30%.

2. Forged grappling hook:

• Scavengers near the blacksmith will drop metal shards.
• Loot metal shards around the ancient vault.
• Craft grappling hooks for exploration and main story progression.

3. Create a magic wand:

• Use 2 bones to create a basic wand for ranged attacks.
• No ammunition required, saving backpack space.

4. Find survivors:

• Awaken five survivors from Springland’s ancient vault.
• Each survivor has unique skills for better crafting.

5. Reserve necessary resources:

• Collect wood, stone, plant fibers, metal scraps, salt and sparks.
• These materials are essential for various recipes and upgrades.

6. Use the blacksmith for your first build:

• Craft the Rising Fighter set to increase health and recovery.
• Level 8 armor becomes available around level 3.

7. Unlock key skills:

• Spend skill points on Merciless Attack, Powerful Parry, Sneak Attack, Backstab Damage, and get plenty of rest to enhance your attacks and buffs.

8. Eliminate the shrouded roots and clear the elixir well:

• Find and eliminate Shroud Roots and Elixir Wells to gain skill points, loot, and experience points.

9. Obtain the Wailing Blade:

• Find it in the Scavenger Treasure near the Alchemist’s Ancient Vault.
• A unique legendary weapon that can also be used as a torch.

Bonus Tip: Use the Wailing Blade to provide lighting in dark areas.

10. Harvest runes from enemies:

• Kill enemies in the Shroud and salvage weapons to obtain runes.
• Weapons of higher rarity generate more runes for upgrading.

11. Expand your backpack:

• Upgrade the medium backpack for more inventory space.
• More pockets means more resources.

12. Refuel with meals and snacks:

Hidden gameplay

Enshrouded’s gameplay revolves around surviving and exploring Embervale’s vast open world from a third-person perspective. Up to 16 players can join forces in this action-packed role-playing adventure. Players build bases, collect resources and craft equipment in the main world. The game introduces the Shroud, a mysterious fog-covered area filled with hostile monsters, where players risk their lives to discover valuable loot and treasure chests.

To thrive, players must manage hunger and thirst, which affects combat effectiveness. Drinking water can increase endurance, and food can increase physical fitness.
