The game is an action role-playing game that combines real-time action with strategy and role-playing. It takes place after the events of “Remastered.” Players control the mercenary Cloud Strife and an organization called AVALANCHE. They travel around the world to stop the Shinra Corporation from using the Earth’s life essence, the Lifestream, as an energy source. They also try to defeat Sephiroth, a powerful enemy who wants to unite with Earth to gain more power.

“Rebirth” began production in November 2019, before “Remastered” was released. The film was announced in June 2022. Many of the staff from “Remastered” also worked on “Rebirth”, but in different roles.

The game was released on PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024 and was well received by critics.

To the hunting grounds:

• Visit the hunting grounds, close to where you interacted with the salmon in the previous mission. Make sure you have a Mountain Strider to traverse.

Tracking cow scent:

• Use your chocobo to track the scent of cattle, which will lead you to encounter various demons.

Fight the Mysterious Dragon:

• Once you reach the lair, you’ll encounter a mysterious dragon. It’s weak against wind, so use a character with ranged abilities and exploit its weakness.

Select product:

• After defeating the Mystic Dragon, you will have three options for offerings: beef, Mystic Dragon meat, or green vegetables grown in the cave. Choose beef for best results.

Return to vantage point:

• Place the chosen offering on a pedestal in a vantage point and await the vulture’s arrival. Colin’s response will indicate whether what is being offered is sufficient.

Earn rewards:

• Once the Vulture appears, snap a photo and receive rewards including a Guardian Stone, Affinity with Tifa, Party XP, and a well-composed photo of the Vulture.
