“For Honor” is an action game developed and published by Ubisoft. It is primarily developed by Ubisoft Montreal, with the PC version being handled by Blue Byte. The game was announced at Ubisoft’s E3 2015 press conference and released worldwide on February 14, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. For Honor allows players to take on the role of historical warriors such as knights, samurai and vikings and control them from a third-person perspective.

The game received generally positive reviews, praising its challenging and innovative combat mechanics. Development of For Honor began in 2012, marking Ubisoft’s first foray into strategy action game development. The game’s structure is inspired by shooters, providing a unique gaming experience.

On June 24, 2020, For Honor received further recognition when the character “The Warden” was included as a playable DLC character in SNK’s 2019 fighting game Samurai Shodown. The event features cosmetics inspired by Dead by Daylight and introduces the Trapper, the AI-controlled enemy character from the original game.

S-Class Honored Heroes: These heroes are considered the strongest in the game currently. They have a powerful set of abilities and moves that become even more powerful as you unlock more feats. If you are looking for an easy victory, it is recommended to choose one of these heroes.

“For Honor” is an action game that takes place in a medieval fantasy background. The game has five factions: Iron Legion (Knights), Children of War (Vikings), Dawn Empire (Samurai), Wulin (Ancient China), and the Outlander faction composed of pirates and pirates (new in January 2022) Medjay and Afeera. Each faction has its own unique characters representing different classes of warriors.

The vanguard-level arms are balanced and capable of both offense and defense. The Assassin class is fast and good at one-on-one combat, but lacks the damage output against multiple enemies. In this mode, players enter a duel scenario where they can choose from three different attack directions (from top, right, or left) based on on-screen prompts and the opponent’s movements.

Players can block their opponent’s attacks by choosing the correct defensive position. Each character also has unique special abilities, such as shoulder barges and evasive moves.
