General bug fixes

[Fix Submitted] Players loading incorrectly when deploying and unable to switch

Affectionately known as the “Loading Bug”, we believe our fix will remain strong and may eventually eradicate this particular bug. As with many fixes, we won’t know if it’s successfully blocked all instances of the loading error until it appears in live gameplay – so we’ll be keeping an eye out for your feedback while you’re working on patch 14.4, so be sure to use support link to report any issues.

[Fixed] Throwing the last grenade will replay the “Equip Grenade” animation after throwing it

The last remaining issue with the Grenade Bug – Animation Support has resolved an issue where the equip grenade animation would briefly play when the last grenade was thrown into the equip, now fixed.

[Fixed] When all game mode matches end, the game will hang for another 9 seconds before displaying the results screen

New cosmetics DLC

[Added] [Xbox] [PC] Luftwaffe Eagle

The DLC is coming soon to PlayStation 5 players, but unfortunately, it won’t be available with the initial release of patch 14.4. PlayStation players may notice there’s room for this DLC in the Add-on Content Center, but it’s not currently available for purchase. We will notify you as soon as it becomes available!

Luftwaffe Eagle

As part of the Luftwaffe, paratroopers were the first to participate in large-scale airborne operations. Due to their tenacious fighting spirit and tactical advantages, paratroopers are also known as “Green Goblins”. However, following the casualties of the Cretan campaign, they were used primarily as ground troops.

Map optimization

With each patch, we strive to continue improving your experience with existing maps, including improving stability through various map optimizations such as LOD fixes and collision issues.

The triangle complexity of some assets may be too dense, meaning that the LODs set for them cannot be switched efficiently to keep the triangle complexity optimal compared to the screen size.

Mesh LOD optimization is not only important to ensure that an asset’s LOD is not noticeable to the player, but is also critical to ensuring that we minimize overdraw on complex meshes. Any amount of overdraw on a complex mesh will stress the GPU, affecting performance and stability.

While these optimizations require time and human attention, we’re also working hard to catch some of the issues you’ve reported – including LOD changes and invisible collisions. Hopefully you’ll see some improvements with each patch.

Hell Unleashed Gameplay

Hell Let Loose gameplay involves epic 50 vs. 50 battles set in World War II. Players can choose to become soldiers of different factions, such as the German, American, Soviet or British, with Finnish and Polish armies coming soon. The goal is to capture and control areas on the map.

There are two game modes: War mode, where you win by capturing all or most areas when the timer runs out, and Attack mode, where you try to capture all areas occupied by the defenders before time runs out. Communication is critical, providing a voice channel for leaders, teams, and more.

It also makes strategic sense for commanders to deploy vehicles, air strikes, and airdrops of supplies, but these require resources. The game’s maps are inspired by real World War II battles, providing an immersive experience centered on teamwork.
