The initial phase of the battle is similar to your previous encounter with Queen Gibdo outside the temple. Your goal is to dodge her attacks, use elemental attacks to break through her armor, and attack her quickly when she’s vulnerable to deal maximum damage before she recovers. Once enough damage is done, a cutscene will trigger, signaling the start of the second phase.
During this phase, four Gibdor lairs scattered across the arena become active, heightening the challenge you face in combat. Managing this second phase presents significant challenges. The Queen’s attacks become more powerful, with larger tornadoes and dive attacks. It is crucial to remain constantly vigilant about her every move.
Your first priority should be to eliminate at least one hive. Doing so will reveal a pillar of light, which will automatically remove the Gibdos’ armor and weaken them, making them easier to destroy. Pillars don’t directly affect the queen, but taking out some hives can make the fight much easier.
Unfortunately, the newfound light pillar blocks your view of the boss, as she becomes hard to spot in the glow.
