Baldur’s Gate 3’s Lower City is filled with interesting characters and locations, but none of them are as mysterious as the mysterious carrion of Fairgrave Mansion. Fortunately, Thrumbo is conveniently located not far from his former employer’s offices. Although Mysterious Carrion recommends contacting Thrumbo’s fellow escaped zombies for information, this is not a mandatory step to find him and progress the mission. Trumbo is located in a compact residence directly east of Fairgrave Mansion, as shown in the attached screenshot.

Trumbo’s presence can be seen in a closet inside the modest home, clearly marked on the map. After opening the closet, Thrumbo appears and can be talked to.
At this point, you have a few options to consider. You can force Thrumbo to accompany you back to Mystic Carrion, or you can listen to him tell the story of the death of his former master. No matter what you decide, progress will be made on Baldur’s Gate 3’s quest for the mysterious carrion and Oscar.
