Skull and Bones Harvest Acacias

In the game “Skull and Bones”, harvesting acacias is a task in which players need to collect a special resource called acacias. This resource is very important for crafting and upgrading items in the game. In order to find the Acacia tree, players need to look for the tree symbol on the game map.

These symbols show where acacia trees are located and where they are available for harvesting. When players see the tree symbol, they can head to the area and collect acacia trees by cutting down trees. It’s like going on a treasure hunt in the game world. Acacia trees are not found everywhere in the game, so players will have to explore different places to find it.

Once collected, players can use Acacia to enhance their characters and ships, and create cool stuff to use in the game. Therefore, harvesting acacias is an important part of playing Skull and Bones, helping players progress and become more powerful pirates in the game.

How to harvest acacias in Skull and Bones?

Harvesting acacia trees in Skull and Bones is very simple. Once you find the acacia tree, you just need to sail your boat closer to it. The game will then tell you to press a button, like the triangle button on the PS5, to start harvesting.

That’s what timing does. When you start sawing a tree, you’ll see a picture of a saw with yellow and green parts. You have to press the button at the right moment every time the saw moves. If you hit the saw when it is in the yellow zone, you will successfully harvest an acacia tree. But if you manage to hit it in the green zone, you’ll be rewarded with more resources.

But be careful! You can only miss a maximum of 3 chances to hit the right spot. If you screw up more, your harvest attempt will fail and you’ll have to try again. So keep your timing sharp, aim for those green areas, and collect as many acacias as you can!

The background of the game is set in an era when pirates ruled the oceans. But it doesn’t quite feel like history. It’s more of a fantasy version of the late 1600s, known as the Golden Age of Piracy. You will become a pirate, sail your own ship, fight other ships and search for treasure. You can play Skull and Bones by yourself or with friends. The developers made this game using an engine called Ubisoft Anvil, which makes the game look very cool and realistic.

It was also supposed to be available on Google Stadia, but that didn’t happen due to the shutdown of Google Stadia. So if you like adventure games and like pirates and naval battles, keep an eye out for the release of Skull and Bones!

Skull and Bones gameplay

Skull and Bone Development

Skull and Bones began its journey as Ubisoft Singapore’s first project in 2013, inspired by the naval battles of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. It was originally conceived as an expansion to Black Flag and later as an MMO spin-off, Black Flag Infinite, but technical limitations prompted it to evolve into a standalone venture.

Development encountered significant obstacles, including environmental changes from the Caribbean to Hyperborea and finally settlement in the Indian Ocean. Gameplay has gone through several revisions, shifting the focus from sea exploration to land-based survival elements influenced by games like Rust. Budget issues and management challenges plagued the project, which cost more than $120 million.

Announced at E3 2017, Skull and Bones faced a series of delays and was originally slated for release in 2018. “New Vision” emerged in September 2020, resulting in more development time and the involvement of other Ubisoft studios such as Ubisoft Berlin. Although there were subsequent delays, including a closed beta in August 2023, the game’s release date was finally set for February 16, 2024, after a series of rescheduled release dates.
