To play a custom Workshop map in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), follow these steps:

• Download the maps you want to play on, created by you, friends or community members.
• Find the directory: “SteamsteamappscommonCounter-Strike Global Offectivegamecsgomaps” or “SteamsteamappscommonCounter-Strike 2gamecs2maps”.
• Copy and paste the downloaded map files into this directory.
• Start Counter-Strike 2.
• Press “~” to open the console command. If it’s not on, go to the “Games” tab in settings and enable this feature.
• Once the command prompt opens, type: “map %map_name%” and then press Enter, replacing “%map_name%” with the actual name of the map.
• Console commands will provide some automatic commands. After completing these steps, the custom shop map should load.

Please keep in mind that due to engine differences, you cannot load CS:GO custom workshop maps in CS2. Valve switched to Source 2 of CS2, making older maps incompatible.
