The game is inspired by “The Adventures of Pinocchio”, an ancient Italian book published in 1883 by Carlo Collodi. In Lies of P, you play as Pinocchio, wandering around Krat and fighting strange mechanical enemies from a third-person perspective. You carry a sword and an ax and can dodge or block enemy attacks. Pinocchio’s robotic arms are handy; you can attach different gadgets, such as a grappling hook or a flamethrower, for combat and exploration. There are 30 weapons in the game and a variety of combinations, allowing you to create powerful equipment. There is a special “Lie System” that changes the story based on your choices. This results in three different endings, making the game fun again and adding more challenge and excitement to the experience.
