“Yakuza Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name” continues the story of “Yakuza 6” and is between the stories of “Yakuza Gaiden” and “Yakuza: Infinite Wealth”. The protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu, faked his death to protect his adopted son and now works as a secret agent for the Daidaiji faction under the code name “Joryu”. However, one mission goes wrong, and Kiryu is pulled back into action by a mysterious figure.

In Yakuza Gaiden: The Man Who Erased the Name, players play as Kazuma Kiryu and explore two areas: Sotenbori in Osaka and Isesaki Ijincho in Yokohama.
