Yakuza Gaiden: The Man Who Erased his Name is an upcoming video game produced by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega. You can play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game is a side story in the Yakuza series.
The story takes place between the events of Yakuza 6: Song of Life (2016), Yakuza: Like a Dragon (2020), and Yakuza: Infinite Fortune (2024). The play tells the story of Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of the original work, who pretends to be a secret agent and embarks on a new adventure in Osaka and Yokohama. You can get your hands on Dragon Gaiden anywhere in the world on November 9, 2023.

Like Dragon Gaiden gameplay
In the game “Yakuza Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name”, you will play as Kazuma Kiryu. You will explore two places: Osaka’s Sotenbori district and Yokohama’s Isezaki Ijincho district. There’s also a central area called the Castle where you can do some extra things like fun games. You can enjoy mini-games like karaoke, pocket racing, managing a cabaret club, and participating in fighting arenas just like in previous games. A new character named Akame gives Kiryu additional tasks.
Kiryu has two fighting styles available, the Yakuza style is like his classic fighting style with powerful punches and kicks, while the Agent style is super fast and precise and uses cool gadgets. Just like in Lost Judgment, you can play some old-school games on Like a Dragon Gaiden’s master system.
