Persona 3 Reload Sushi, How to Complete I’d Like to Try Sushi Request?

Persona 3 Sushi Reloaded

In Persona 3: Reloaded, there’s a noteworthy mission involving sushi requested by Elizabeth, one of the game’s characters. Although the game is set in Japan, surprisingly there are no traditional sushi restaurants in the game. Instead, the virtual world is filled with Western-style burger joints and the occasional udon shop, making finding sushi quite challenging.

In Persona 3: Reloaded, Elizabeth assigns various requests to the player, one of the more complex tasks being to obtain sushi for her. This particular request, labeled request 74, appeared around early October. To complete this quest, players may need to fulfill some of Elizabeth’s previous item requests.

Similar to her other food-related quests (such as the beef bowl request), this one revolves around getting a specific type of sushi from a specific location in the city and bringing it back to Elizabeth for her to try. Although there are no traditional sushi restaurants in the game, fulfilling this sushi request is relatively simple. Players need to navigate to the designated location, obtain the required sushi, and then return it to Elizabeth to complete the task and obtain related rewards.

How do I complete an “I want to try sushi” request?

To complete the “I want to try sushi” request in Persona 3 Reload, follow the steps below. After accepting Elizabeth’s request 74, go to the main map and go to Nagasaki Shrine. Despite its unusual location, this shrine holds the key to satisfying sushi requirements. Once you reach the shrine, approach the small red shrine on the left side of the area.

Interacting with the shrine, the protagonist will notice Inari sushi left behind by some people. In this scene, he remembers Elizabeth asking for sushi. Completing this step involves using the Academic statistic, so it is recommended to raise this statistic to a certain level. If your character has a level six genius stat, that should be enough, but it’s unclear if lower stats will work.

On site, an old lady will serve you sushi. After obtaining the sushi, return to Elizabeth outside the Velvet Room and give it to her to complete the request. As a reward for fulfilling the request, you will receive ergot blocks. This mission not only adds an interesting twist to the game, but also provides a unique blend of cultural elements within the virtual world of Persona 3: Reloaded.

In this game, you play as a high school student who returns to his hometown ten years after his parents died in a car accident. The protagonist can summon something called a Persona, which is like a manifestation of his inner spirit. He joined a group called the Special Extracurricular Enforcement Team (SEES) with others who could do the same thing. Together they must fight against the Shadow and solve the mysteries of the Dark Hour.

Fans of the Persona series are eager for a Persona 3 remake, especially after the success of Persona 5. Game developer Atlus officially stated that they heard the voices of fans and began development of “Reload” in 2019. They announced the game in June 2023 and first talked about it in April 2023.

Reload retains the story of the original Persona 3, but makes it look and function better. Azusa Shimada came up with new designs for the characters, and Shige Soejima made sure everything looked good. Atsushi Kitajoh produced new music for the game, with some songs performed by Azumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice. The game aims to match the quality of subsequent games in the Persona series.
