Recently, Game Freak released Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC more than a year after the initial game’s release. The expansion includes Cyan Mask and Indigo Disk, and introduces 14 new Pokémon. To further delight players, Game Freak has launched three item distribution events.

Subscribers to Japan’s newsletter receive two codes at random – “SUPEREFFECT1VE” for an expert belt and “G0TCHAP0KEM0N” for 30 fastballs. These codes are valid until February 28, 2025 and enhance the gaming experience.

According to Serebii, Game Freak chose to provide Metal Sound TM to players to meet Shieldon’s production requirements. It’s worth noting that Shieldon is exclusive to players who own Pokemon Violet, making Metal Sound a version-specific TM. The current crafting recipe for this TM will be modified in the mid-January patch.

However, ahead of this update, Game Freak is offering Metal Sound TM as a mystery gift. To claim these Mystery Gifts in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players need to visit the Poke Portal, select the Mystery Gift feature, and then select “Get via Internet” or “Get via code.” It’s worth noting that while the Expert Belt and Fast Ball can be obtained through the latter option, Metal SoundTM can only be obtained through the Internet.
