In Sonic Superstar, players can play through levels with Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles in both single-player and co-op modes. The game is about completing levels called “zones” in a side-scrolling view, which means the game moves from left to right. You need to defeat Dr. Eggman, who is up to no good with the help of Hunter Fang and Sungazer Trip. They want to capture giant animals and build a powerful army.
There are 12 areas in the game, each with different challenges. You can collect rings to gain health and gain energy to help you. Some areas have unique things like jungle vines that you can slide on or transform into special creatures. You also face a boss at the end of each level. You can also play with friends in this game. There are special stages where you can gain abilities and customize your character. The game has multiplayer options so you can play with others locally or online.
