How to recruit Qianli in Star Ocean Part 2 Story R?
- Continue the game until you reach “Ned Central City”.

Exit City Hall and turn left. You will meet Qianli for the first time.

Continue the story until you reach “North City” as part of the main quest. Head to the item shop where you’ll meet Chisato again.

Keep going until you reach the “Crimson Crystal Cave”. Once inside, immediately go right and follow the winding path. Take a few steps to the left at the end of the path and you will witness a limited-time event where Qianli falls and drops his ID card.

To recruit Qianli, you must retrieve this ID. Return to where you were on the steps, but don’t go up. Instead, go north and follow the path until you reach where Thousand Miles is. Get your ID card.

Complete the Crimson Crystal Cave and return to Canterlot City Hall. Go upstairs to the second floor and enter the office area. Qianli works here, you can return her ID card.
- Once you give her her ID, you can recruit Chisato, as long as you don’t already have eight members in your party.
