Star Ocean Part 2 Story R Party Members

In Star Ocean: Second Story R, ​​you have 13 characters you can choose to join your party. Two of them, Claude and Reyna, are mandatory. You decide who to control between them. This leaves you with six spots to recruit other characters.

You can have a total of eight party members, four of whom are actively fighting at the same time. Others can be quickly summoned into battle. Once you reach this limit, you won’t be able to recruit more players unless you unlock New Game+ mode.

2. Rena Lanford (Healer): Joined shortly after the game starts.
3. Celine Jules (caster): Helps out in Cross Cave and asks to join permanently.
4. Opera Vectra (Ranged Fighter): Find Ernest in Cross, talk to Opera in the Hilton Bar, then head to the dungeon of Cross Hill Palace.
5. Ashton Anchor (Powerful Melee Fighter): Rescue Ashton in the Salva Mines after hearing rumors about dragons.
6. Welch’s Vineyard (Combined Melee Fighter): After the LaCour Tournament, meet Welch at the Castle in Private Ops mode.
7. Precis Neumann (Long Range Fighter): In Linga, activate Private Ops mode and complete the event involving the Neumann family.
8. Bowman Jenny (Combo Melee Warrior): After finding the herb in the Linga Shrine, spend the night at Jenny’s house.
9. Ernest Lavid (powerful melee fighter): After recruiting Opera, complete Cross Hill Palace to find Ernest’s hideout.
10. Dias Flac (Combo Melee Warrior): When playing as Rena, Dias will ask to join the Lacuer Front Lines.
11. Leon Gehste (Spellcaster): Added in the Ruins of Hoffmann, or shipwrecked in Eluria if playing as Claude.
12. Chisato Madison (Combined Melee Warrior): Find Chisato near the Centroplis government building in Nied and return her ID card.
13. Noel Chandler (Healer): If your party has seven or fewer members, you can join after the Crimson Crystal Cave event ends.
