One day before release date
The Day Before was originally released in 2021, with a gameplay trailer showing off how the game works. It was originally scheduled to launch in June 2022. However, they decided to switch to the more advanced game engine Unreal Engine 5 and postponed the release to March 1, 2023.

In August 2023, there were reports that the game’s name might be changed to “Dayworld” as Mytona and Fntastic applied for trademark registration. Finally, they announced in November 2023 that “The Day Before” would be launched on Steam Early Access starting on December 7, 2023.
