The Day Before Yesterday is a horror game where many players team up to survive and escape. It is produced by Fntastic and published on Steam by Mytona. They used Unreal Engine 5 to build it, and it runs on Windows computers. The game launches on December 7, 2023, but is still in development and therefore in “early access” status. It’s all about surviving scary things with friends, so you can play together.

The creators of The Day Before, Fntastic and Mytona, made sure to create an eerie atmosphere with the music composed by Sigurd Jøhnk-Jensen. They created the game so you can jump in and play with other people, fighting scary things and trying to escape, which makes it a multiplayer survival horror game.

The game had a rocky road to production the day before. They showed off how the game would work for the first time in 2021, but it was originally scheduled for release in June 2022. They changed their plans and postponed the release to March 1, 2023 because they wanted to use better software.

Then, in January 2023, they ran into issues with the title of the game, so they delayed it again to November 10, 2023. The people making the game say they actually planned this delay before the name issue. They say they are not trying to scam anyone and another company, Mytona, is supporting them but has not yet taken any money from people.

In February 2023, they showed more gameplay footage, but some videos were removed from YouTube due to a name conflict with another app. Later, in August 2023, they discussed changing the game’s name to “Dayworld.” Finally, in November 2023, they stated that the game would be released early on December 7, 2023, but only with limited content on Steam.
