Baldur’s Gate 3 Mithril Ore Locations

In Baldur’s Gate 3, you can find mithril ore in the Grimm Forge. To get there, head south from the Ancient Forge waypoint, where you’ll encounter a cliffside. Drop down and jump over the lava river to reach this location.

There are two nodes in Grimm’s Forge that contain Mithril Ore. One of these is to the left of the stairs leading to the furnace, after jumping over a gap. The other is found south of the Ancient Forge waypoint, down the cliff, and over the lava river.

To mine mithril veins, equip a weapon with bludgeoning damage, as mithril veins are immune to other damage types. Attack the mithril vein until it is destroyed, then you can mine the ore.

In the Grimm Forge, you’ll also find the Adamantine Forge, where you can use mithril ore to craft forged items. Place the ore into the crucible, insert the mold into the mold chamber, and pull the lever to activate the furnace. After completing these steps, open the mold chamber to retrieve your forged items. Note that the ore is consumed in the process, but you can recycle the mold for future use.
