In Yakuza: Infinite Fortune, Ichiban and his team travel across Hawaii, forming alliances and rivalries. These characters often provide valuable services, such as weapon upgrades or job unlocks. However, Ichiban can also engage with them on a personal level and learn about their health. Ichiban discovers that these characters would like certain gifts and is challenged to find these items in Hawaii.

In Chapter 3, Ichiban meets Machiko, an interesting woman who introduces him to her dating app Miss Match. This kicks off a substory that culminates in a unique date and the unlocking of the “Miss Match” mini-game. To participate in the mini-game, Ichiban can visit Machiko at the Cream & Berry (Waikiki) Cafe on Seaside Ave near Kiryu’s Hotel.

In between meeting potential love interests through Miss Match, Ichiban can have meaningful conversations with Machiko to learn more about her and himself. During these interactions, Machiko subtly hinted at Ichiban gifts she would love, with assorted treats being the first item on her wish list.

In Yakuza: Infinite Fortune, getting the dim sum platter Machiko wants requires a trip to Liang’s Bakery in Honolulu’s Chinatown. Players can quickly travel to the Lantern St. Taxi Stand to easily reach the store. From there, it’s a short walk north along Lantern St. to Liang’s Bakery, where dim sum platters are on sale for $48.00.

Ichiban can carry up to three of these at once. After obtaining the delicious gift, players should return to Cream & Berry (Waikiki) and interact with Machiko. Selecting the “Give Gift” option allows players to send her a gift, strengthening their bond and triggering a follow-up request from her.

While Machiko is particularly fond of Liang’s delicious treats, it’s worth considering purchasing extra portions to share with the rest of the team to increase their bond. Raising a party member’s bond level unlocks special drink link events at certain thresholds.

Completing these events not only strengthens Ichiban and Kiryu’s bond with the character, but also gains valuable combat skills and improved teamwork. It’s worth noting that Nanba, Seonhee, and Tianyou Zhao all like dim sum platters, and gifting these items in Revolve or Survive can significantly increase their bond yields.
