Xenoblade Chronicles 3 update 2.1.1 brings important improvements that make the game even better. In this update, they fixed an issue with the expansion pass. Now features like special hero music, sound settings, and notifications will be available for everyone. They also fixed a bug with the “Maintain Strength” skill. Previously, when you used Fusion Arts, it hurt the wrong character. Now, they’ve fixed this issue so the game is fairer and better for players.

Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where not having the Expansion Pass would cause special hero background music, audio environments in audio settings, and notifications to not display.
- Fixed an issue with the “Keep Power” art follow-up where activating the Fusion Art would cause follow-up attack damage to the character using the Fusion Art and allies.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 immerses players in dynamic combat in a vast open world with support for up to seven party members, including a unique “hero” character and a total of 19 recruitable heroes. Customizing your character through class changes and growth in abilities fosters player agency. The game’s day and night cycle affects events, quests, and item availability in the open world.
Combat is real-time, with players controlling the protagonist and automatically attacking party members. “Arts” provide strategic depth based on role positioning, with different roles (defender, attacker, healer) and talent arts enhancing the experience. Career points unlock Master Arts and Fusion Arts, while combinations of Arts (such as Breach, Collapse, Daze, Burst, Launch, and Smash) provide tactical options.
